A Little Self Portrait Fun

I know it has been for-ev-er since I have posted, and I apologize for that! For just starting (although you wouldn't know it by our 'Indian Summer'!), fall has been pretty busy already! However, this week I made a little time to do some self portrait shooting in the last of our summer weather. Self portraits may sound fairly easy, but I find them to be quite a challenge. Although you may know what you want the shot to look like in the end, it's hard to set it up when the subject is behind the camera, rather than in front of it. However, I managed to get a few photos I enjoy, and had fun while doing it. I edited the photos with a sort of "vintage summer" feel in honor of the end of this wonderful season. Hope you enjoy!

What's more summery than a pair of yellow peep-toed flats?

The shot on the left was actually an accident. I had planned a different pose, but just as the shutter clicked, a cyclist rode down the hill yelling "yahoooo!" which caught my attention. And thus this shot. :)

I love this vintage Konica!
